Always looking fabulous, Jessica Alba was spotted partaking in an exclusive photo shoot at a local studio in Los Angeles, California on Friday (Aug 20).

Quite the busy lady since returning home from an overseas summer getaway, the "Sin City" star stripped down to a skimpy all black getup as she bided time in between posing for a sure-to-be sexy spread.

The photo op comes just as Jess happens to be the covergirl of the coveted September issue of Cosmopolitan magazine.

Dishing on married life during the interview, she tells, "The romantic stuff comes and goes, but it's like, does that person have your back? You have to be a team navigating through wherever life may lead you and I want a friend for that."

Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren took part in the First Annual Rising Stars of America All-Star Kickball Game, held in sunny Santa Monica on Saturday.

Jessica stars in the upcoming film "An Invisible Sign Of My Own" about a young girl who turns to mathematics as a means of dealing with a devastating family illness. Years later, Mona teaches the subject and does her best to help her students contend with their own personal crises.

She also stars in "Little Fockers" in which the Focker and the Byrnes families brace themselves for the arrival of a baby.

Jessica Alba Breaks Traffic Rules

‘Fantastic Four’ star Jessica Alba is said to have been stopped by the police for allegedly speeding while driving through Los Angeles.

Alba, 29, was driving her luxury Yukon sports utility vehicle when a Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) officer pulled her over in Beverly Hills on August 11, the Daily Star reported.

According to TMZ.com, the actress cooperated fully with the police and reportedly told them that she was driving quickly to avoid nearby paparazzi.

She is said to have been let off with a warning for the alleged violation.

Jennifer Lopez is Jessica Alba's Idol

The Fantastic Four star-Jessica Alba' told OK! magazine that Jennifer Lopez was her idol but movie bosses always want to cast her as the "maid".

Jessica Alba has hit out at the film industry for pigeonholing Hispanic actresses.

She said: "Jennifer Lopez is a huge star, but in Hollywood they still always want her to play the maid. I love her because she opened doors for ethnic girls like me. I want to break down more barriers."

Jessica, whose father is Mexican American, said she had "a hell of a time" at school because she was bullied for being mixed race.

"I'd get beaten up and picked on all the time", she said. "It was about being different. Apart from being mixed race, my parents didn't have money so I never had the cute clothes or the cool backpack."

The stunning actress, 29, admits that she tends to be "a little obsessive and compulsive about things," adding: "I think a lot of actors suffer from obsessive compulsive disorder. I think it is part of being creative."

Alba is now in the south of France with her husband, Cash Warren. The well-dressed duo were snapped grocery shopping in country club wear this week, with Jessica in a white skirt and knotted button-down and Cash in a polo and khaki shorts.
