I’ll be honest, the release of the Awake trailer sort of surprised me as I never heard of it. Apparently, the movie was anounced on Dec 05 and guess I missed it.
Anyways, the movie synopsis reads:
“Awake” is a psychological thriller about a common occurrence called “anesthetic awareness”, a horrifying phenomenon wherein a patient’s (Hayden Christensen) failed anesthesia leaves fully conscious but physically paralyzed during surgery. The patient’s charming new wife (Jessica Alba) is forced to struggle with her own demons as a terrifying drama unfolds around the couple. Also starring Lena Olin, Terrence Howard, and Sam Robards, the film marks the debut of Joby Harold.

Media around the worls have been quoting a recent interview with Jessica Alba in which she mentioned that she will not think twice before turning down a nude role in a movie. Jessica is quoted as saying:
“I will never do a nude scene in a movie - not ever. I can act sexy and I can wear sexy clothes but I can’t go naked. I think I was always very uncomfortable about the way my body developed, I come from a Catholic family and it wasn’t seen as good to flaunt yourself. I can handle being sexy with clothes on but not with them off.”
But, wait, does Catholicism allow Jessica Alba to be topless? anyone minds explaining?

Jessica Alba feels that she has wasted her time doing blockbuster roles.
Jessica Alba regrets doing a Blockbuster movie, she said that it is better to do meaningful roles than Blockbusters.
She said that she doesn’t mind doing a small role, or working on small projects but the role has to be interesting and meaningful.
Alba said ‘I’ve definitely had to fight in the film industry and I’m going to change a lot of things in my career’
‘I’m waiting to just do little movies with meaning to me with great directors. “That’s going to be my driving force now. It’s totally different.’
Alba will now be choosy about the movies she does.
Jessica Alba says that she will never nude scenes again. The reason behind this decision is her catholic background.
She feels that her catholic background does not allow her to do so, and she will not think twice before turning down a role which requires her shed her clothes.
She said that she is from a catholic family and she can manage looking sexy with clothes but she would not go naked for any reason.

But one question tricking on my mind is- why didn’t Alba think about this before?

One should never approach Alba when she’s in a bad mood.
Reason being that they might feel humiliated just as the paparazzi had faced humiliation with Alba’s behavior.
Alba was surely in a bad mood when the Paparazzi spotted her. She was having lunch with a friend at Breadbar in Beverly Hills this afternoon, and when she saw the paparazzi she immediately changed her mood and covered her face with a newspaper.
Well, is that why celebrities carry newspapers for, to hide their faces if they see the paparazzi?
And finally when time came to leave, Alba flipped ‘em up the finger at the paparazzi and went away.
Jessica Alba is one star who gives more importance to her work than her looks.
She is ready to compromise with her looks for a good role. The Hollywood beauty recently said that she is willing to get fat and shave off her lovely locks for the right film role.
She is desperate to do good and interesting roles. She wants to make a mark in more hard-hitting films.
Alba says, ‘If it’s for a challenging or inspiring role, I’d do it.’
We can get to see Alba soon with her new makeover, only if she finds her dream role.
